NATYAM YOUTH COLLECTIVE
Music & dance and other forms of art have always been a way to bring people together in service of their communities.
In that spirit, we are excited to announce the formation of Natyam Youth Collective (NYC), an arts themed community service initiative. The mission is simple. Provide an ARTS based vehicle for our children to do projects that help the less fortunate and needy in our community. By ART, we don’t just include music and dance but think much more broadly - painting, visual arts - you name it.
We envision working on a few meaningful events spread out over the year, each supporting a local cause that matters to our community. For our children, this will serve as an opportunity to show leadership, apply teamwork and creativity & make lifelong relationships. For the parents, this will give us an opportunity to connect with our kids in a different setting and also network with other parents.
We're looking to form a core group of families who can help organize these events. Whether you're involved in music, dance, painting, or any other art form - or if you simply want to help coordinate - we'd love to have you join us.
